At Opus Magnum we aim to create furniture that lasts a lifetime - we understand that needs evolve and we design furniture that can too. Our Closed Loop servicing scheme is in place to extend the life of your furniture: whether it needs refinishing or reimagining, we aim to do what we can to allow all of our furniture to remain in use.
Closed Loop Servicing Scheme Explained
As part of our ReCrafting™ initiative, we developed a servicing scheme designed to extend the life of furniture through assessment, repair, refurbishment, and remanufacturing.
How it works
Our team will assess furniture for suitability for continued use
If deemed suitable for ReCrafting™, we will collaborate with project design teams and client to repair, refurbish, and/or remanufacture furniture
Arrange collection and return where agreed
Apply circular design and product stewardship principles
Please note: Not all furniture can be ReCrafted™ - each item is assessed individually

Ensure items are accessible and safe for inspection or collection
Accurately disclose condition of all furniture and/or materials, and any known defects and/or hazards
Remove all personal belongings and data
Maintain insurance unless otherwise agreed
What this is not
We do not buy, purchase, or take ownership of your furniture
We do not automatically accept items as waste
We are not a waste carrier or disposal authority
Submission does not mean your furniture will be recycled or disposed of
Care, risk & liability
We take reasonable care of items while in our possession
We are not responsible for pre-existing defects or normal wear
Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the services provided, as permitted by law
Sustainability commitment
We aim to extend product life wherever possible using circular economy principles.
