Building our sustainable future — solar energy
We are currently installing 148 solar panels onto the roof of our workshop and office building. The electricity generated will provide around 30% of our total electricity usage each year, which now means that 81.9% of our electricity will come from zero carbon sources!
This will have a huge impact on our carbon footprint and is another big sustainable goal ticked off the list. Our next target is to install batteries which will enable us to store the electricity generated over the weekend for midweek use.
